Jeremiah Doughty, is a wild game chef from Southern California. His passion for the outdoors started at a very young age, but his love for it started many years later.
In 2010 Jeremiah found out he was allergic to bovine fats (BEEF) and other processed meats. This allergy forced his hand into living without store bought red meats, but he chose to take a stand against it and do his own research.
Through his studies of food, nutrition and allergies he found that large wild game did not hold the allergic trade within its meats. This realization brought his into the large mammal hunting world and he harvested his first antelope in 2011. He quickly found out that it was harder than he had thought, and taking his meat to the butcher was out of the question because they used beef fats in many of their machines. He struggled to find people to help him and shape him within the industry. He struggled to make the meat taste good along with trying to butcher and hunt. After understanding the basics of wild game meat, Jeremiah quickly found himself to be one of the guys people looked up to for simple & easy wild game recipes.
In 2015 he founded From Field To Plate as a tool for others to use and learn from. He did not have anyone there to help him when he started and he did not want anyone else to have that struggle. So he founded a blog with stories and recipes.
In 2017 Jeremiah started a hands on 4 day hunting, butchering & cooking school in South Texas. The classes have been mentioned in Outdoor life, NTWF, Mossy oak and other magazines. He has since taken over 100 new and veterans hunters into the field and kitchen.
Jeremiah’s passion for the outdoors grows every day and he can't wait to change the Hunting Industry with a fork and a knife.
Tony Caggiano has been a full time, professional hunting guide, shooting instructor, event planner and adventure & sporting travel specialist for over 20 years.
Several years ago he decided to combine his backgrounds in hunting and event planning and began arranging and hosting, hunting and angling vacations for his friends and clients, both in the U.S. and abroad.
While these adventures were an amazing way to have some fun in his spare time, and on vacations, his love of travel and introducing people to this world which he is so passionate about was quickly becoming more important than simply guiding hunts.
This intense desire to bring more people to the sporting life and introduce them to the excitement of adventure travel spawned the birth of these new endeavors, both booking travel around the world, and perhaps more importantly, keeping people connected and engaged with the outdoors through one on one introductions to hunting, as well as through his very personalized style of social media.
Tony considers himself a very lucky man...as his career is also his passion.
Sharing this love of the outdoors is what he enjoys most, what he does best, and he is very excited to be working to bring these adventures to other sportsmen & women around the world.
Combining this love of the outdoors, with his love of #WildGameBased cooking, this partnership with Jeremiah, is the culmination of a lifetime of work in the outdoors, and a very exciting future moving forward!
